As a Traveling Project Manager, you will act as day-to-day project leader and provide overall management for assigned projects. You must be able to prioritize, act systematically, ask questions without hesitation, vet out assumptions, and ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for making decisions while appropriately weighing risk and reward and should be proactive in bringing resolutions to issues on time. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all projects are delivered within the established budget, timeline, and quality standards while adhering to all relevant federal regulations and guidelines. You will be accountable for managing project resources, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Supervise project start up, project completion, punch list identification and entire close-out process
Provide leadership for multiple aspects of controls including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of personnel
Effectively communicate and coordinate with all project team members to maintain project schedule, safety, budget and quality control efforts
Plan and organize quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports and corrective actions
Ability to write and comprehend RFIs, potential change orders, project schedules,
3-week look-aheads and other project documents
Ability to clearly communicate to home office, Owner and Subcontractors
Ability to write contracts, negotiate scope, negotiate terms and conditions, subcontractor compliance and owner compliance

Contract scope and holding subcontractors to their contracts
Ability to manage schedules, SOVs, org charts, management plans, submittal review and approval for all DIV 01 – 33
Oversee the management and mobilization of equipment, labor and materials to include permits and other 3rd party requirements
Ability to run both internal project meetings as well as owner project meetings - develop content, manage BIC, etc.
Experience building P6 schedules with cost and resource loading, and understanding of all schedule and production reports to owner and company management
Manage sub and self-performance production with the capability of adding and removing craft staff, or modifying work plans to expedite schedule
Manage P&L, change orders, key P\performance indicators, lead and lag measurements and vendor pay applications
Manage T&Cs, stop work orders, VAAR, FAR, AIA and other related clauses
Ability to manage warranty, commissioning, CPARS, PPQ and client satisfaction
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
10-20 years’ experience with a hard-bid general contracting company

As a Traveling Superintendent, you hold the responsibility of overseeing daily site construction activities and managing all necessary field personnel to ensure the successful completion of the project within the designated schedule and budget. This encompasses upholding the highest quality standards, supervising trade and field personnel, and implementing effective construction safety practices throughout all on-site activities.
The individual holding this position is required to report to a project site five days a week. Review project plans for quality requirements.
Plan and organize quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports and corrective actions.
Direct inspections, testing and documentation.
Have working knowledge of owner contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.

As a Traveling Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO), you are responsible for the development and/or review of the Accident Prevention Plan (APP), activity hazard analyses, amendments to the accident prevention plan, on site safety education, toolbox safety meetings, overall safety compliance of the project, and a proactive innovative attitude towards solving difficult site-specific safety issues.
The SSHO will play a key role in ensuring projects complies with local, state, and federal health and safety guidelines and procedures. You will ensure the safety of all employees, make sure all projects are up to code, and provide advice and recommendations for safety improvements.
